8 of the best signs at Pride in Liverpool as city turns into sea of rainbows

The city's annual Pride celebrations returned with a bang.
The Pride in Liverpool festival saw thousands descend on the city centre as the LGBTQ+ community celebrated a day dedicated to them alongside their allies.
As expected those in attendance had a clear and loud message - remembering how Pride, at its core, is a protest.

Among the sea of sequins, rainbow-coloured umbrellas and props, there were a variety of signs on display from festival-goers, groups and popular bars and restaurants from across the region.
Some messages were lighthearted while others needed to be heard loud and clear.
